As a mom, wife, daughter, friend, ministry leader and business owner, I understand the demands and struggles that come with life. It’s hard to take time out to focus on yourself and sometimes it’s difficult to put one foot in front of the other. Moving toward healing takes courage, and I honor that. I can guide you in those next steps.
My counseling approach
My approach to counseling is two-fold. Real challenges and setbacks are affecting your daily life. Learning practical, tangible tools along with shaping a healthier mindset will help you get through your day in a more productive yet peaceful way. At the same time, many of us have deeper wounds that need attention. After regaining positive daily functioning, the real healing can begin as we work to rebuild from past wounds, lean into a positive self-image, and create a brighter future.
As a Christian who believes God made you special, unique and with a greater purpose, this informs how I see my clients. On the other hand, I will never force my beliefs on you, and how much we involve spirituality in your healing is ultimately up to you as the client.
