Kathy Monroe

Therapist - MA, LPC

Kathy truly feels honored when others allow her to walk with them through tough times. Since grade school, she was aware that God put her on this earth to help others process their difficult issues in a safe, caring and non-judgmental environment. She loves helping clients discover “aha” moments and realize that they are in control of their own happily-ever-after. No topic would scare Kathy away, so feel free to bring it! She knows that what you put into therapy is what you are going to get out of it and understands that this is your journey.  Kathy is happy to be of assistance in whatever ways she can.

Kathy has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Private practice is the last stop on her career path as she has been pretty much everywhere else! She has provided care to people at every stage of life, from birth to death and just about every point in between. She absolutely loves working with parents learning effective parenting skills, seniors who are processing old wounds and looking for peace, married couples who have hit a rocky period, and women or men who are struggling with anxiety or depression.

Outside of work Kathy enjoys spending time with her family, two dogs and bearded dragon. She also likes reading a good book, playing games, watching a movie, getting together with friends, going for walks and watching her kids grow and explore.
