Sheri Oetman
Therapist - MA, LPC
Hi, I’m Sheri. Sometimes we get to a place in our lives where we feel confused and overwhelmed. If we could solve our own problems we would. But something in our lives or relationships feels beyond our control. We feel stuck or like things are getting worse. Maybe this describes you? Whether it’s a crisis, tragedy, grief, identity/worth issues, a mood disorder, or relationship issues, I can help.
Counseling approach:
My desire is for you to be heard, seen and valued. In our conversations, we will explore where you have journeyed, what is currently happening in your life and where you hope to be. We will talk about what makes you unique as well as the science and biology of brain function and personality. The goal of our time together will be for you to enjoy positive mental health and have stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
By spending time in a quiet, focused, nonjudgmental space you will gain insights that will make you more resilient and better able to manage life. You will learn and practice new skills that will help you emotionally and relationally overcome barriers and take steps towards wholeness. We will work together to give you clarity, understanding, hope and direction.
