Suicide prevention and care
West Michigan Wellness Group deeply cares about our community and its people. We grieve alongside of those affected by suicide. As a way to show support to our community, in addition to our counseling services, below are some education, prevention and care resources.
There is a lot of misinformation and/or confusion about suicide and caring for those with suicidal ideation. One of the biggest misconceptions is that talking about suicide encourages it. This could not be further from the truth.
Local and quick access resources
- West Michigan Survivors of Suicide Loss offers support groups and an annual conference
- Pine Rest Mental Health Urgent Care or your local hospital
